Shipping policy

PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIMES

  • Orders are generally processed in 2-5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Hand-painted pillar candles can take longer to process.
  • Once processed, we ship via USPS. Delivery can vary between 1-5 business days depending on your location. 
  • The time range from order placement to order delivery is normally 3-10 business days.
  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and all international orders will take longer.
  • We will send you your package tracking information in a shipping confirmation email or SMS once your order has shipped.

 


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international orders are processed through Standard or Express Delivery Service. Shipping costs may vary as they are calculated based on the size, weight and destination country/region.

Duties & Taxes

All international shipments are subject to your home countries customs regulations. Happy Scents is not responsible for taxes and duties. Please also be mindful of this when shipping a gift to a friend, as they may be asked to pay duties upon receipt. We have no control over this. 

 

FREE SHIPPING

Free Shipping on retail orders $75+. Any free shipping option is valid on U.S. standard shipping only for the contiguous U.S. (islands, AK, and HI are excluded) and does not apply to international orders. Free shipping promotion is not active during certain sales and promotions.

 

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

TRACKING SHOWS MY PACKAGE IS DELIVERED BUT I CAN'T FIND IT. WHAT DO I DO?

Once a package is picked up and scanned in by our carrier, the shipping and delivery status is no longer within our control. We are unable to replace missing or stolen packages at this time. Please reach out directly to the shipping carrier for missing or stolen packages within 24-48 hours of receiving your delivery confirmation.  

There are also instances where USPS is holding the package for pickup but incorrectly marks and does not leave a notice or USPS delivers to the wrong address. Check with your local Post Office to see if they are actually holding your package for pickup. Unfortunately, USPS may not allow you to file a claim as they have fulfilled their duty to deliver the package. You will need to file a complaint with the US Postal Inspector that investigates mail theft and file a police report with your local police department to notify them of the theft.

WRONG ADDRESS

We are not responsible for shipping addresses that were incorrectly entered at checkout. If you've provided the wrong ship to address, it's possible that you can submit a request to intercept a package via USPS.

 

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with re-sending the package if it's marked by USPS as not deliverable or return to sender. In most cases, packages returned to sender do not return to us in a timely manner. Once we receive the returned package, your order can be sent to the correct address, but you will be responsible for paying the full shipping cost to the correct address.
